The beta version of ASAPlink was developed in early 2002 by a tutoring agency, The Homework Club, out of a need to increase communication with parents. The result was a success and in 2004, ASAPlite was developed out of a need to provide a version for single users in one location. ASAPlite was developed on the same time-tested platform as ASAPlink, but with classroom teachers and self-employed tutors in mind.
